Who is it for?
Intermediate learners (B1-B2) looking to progress in French.
You’ll improve your French while reading, expand your vocabulary, strenghten your conversation skills, and enhance your comprehension in a practical and interactive way. I’ll give you time to speak about the book and correct/explain mistakes together at the end of each session.
How does it work?
A 4 to 8-week learning journey, with weekly online classes (2h/week) to fit your busy schedule, so that you don’t have to rush to read the book and do the exercises on our virtual classroom. Books will be read over the weeks & matching your level. It should be fun and pleasant, not overwhelming.
We will mostly cover modern and contemporary books that encourage speaking (thriller, culture, tales, feel-good fiction, etc). And no worries, I’m not going to choose huge books. However, note that books are not included, you’ll have to buy them yourself.
How much?
The price vary according to the learning journey (based on the length of the book). The price includes live sessions of 2h speaking classes as well as access to a virtual classroom with additional online exercises. Each session is 20€/hour, but is billed as package depending on the learning journey.
Coming group
A 7-week learning journey including one introductory session to get to know each other.
- Every Wednesday at 6.30 PM (Brussels time).
- Live sessions + access to a virtual classroom with online exercises and lessons notes.
- Book covered: Nââândé !? Les tribulations d’une Japonaise à Paris, by Eriko Nakamura. Note that due to copyright reasons, the book is not included. You will have to buy it yourself.
- Since each session is 20€/hour, you can count 280€ for 7 weeks.
A minimum of 3 people are required for the course to take place.

What platform is used for the lesson?
Lessons are held on Google Meet. You’ll receive all the needed information to connect once the purchase has been made. There’s no need to download anything, you can join the class directly from your browser just by clicking on the link. If you experience any technical problems, you can contact me and I will help you as quickly as possible.
What if I don't receive the link?
Please check your spam folder first. The link is automatically send to your email address once the purchase has been done. If you still can’t find it, contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
What if I miss a class?
No worries, lessons notes and course material will be added to your virtual classroom. You’ll have access to these notes and files for up to 30 days after the course ends.
What happens if I sign up but need to cancel or reschedule?
Due to limited class size and scheduling, I ask you to let me know 14 days before your course starts to get a refund or to be added to another group later. If canceled less than 14 days before the starting day, no refund will be possible.
I'm not sure about my level, how can I know?

These tests are completely free and assess your communication skills assigning you a level based on your answers.

Do I need any materials for the course?
No, all learning materials are provided except for the book. Due to copyright reasons, you’ll need to buy the book yourself. As for lessons notes and guides, you’ll have access to a virtual classroom where everything will be shared.
Be sure to have a computer, a stable internet connection, and a webcam/microphone.
Will I receive worksheets or exercises?
Yes, you will receive worksheets, exercises, and other materials before and after classes. You’ll have access to it up to 30 days after the course ends.
Where can I find the course materials?
All materials are shared through an online platform for group classes before or after each lesson. You’ll get your access details once the course is booked and paid.
Do I have access to the materials after the course?
Yes, you will have access to the materials for the duration of your course and up to 30 days after it. You can download them for personal use only. Sharing them outside the course or platform is strictly prohibited.
Can I download the materials?
Yes, all materials can be downloaded so you can study offline anytime. You will have access to the materials for the duration of your course and up to 30 days after it. However, downloading is for personal use only. Sharing the course materials outside the course or platform is strictly prohibited.
What is your teaching method?
My courses focus on real-life communication and practical speaking skills. All classes are interactive and designed to help you speak as much as possible. I want to give you an opportunity to speak French in a safe place where mistakes are welcome and great to learn! I don’t correct your mistakes immediately, I let you speak without interruption. Once you’re done speaking, we discuss the mistakes together. As for the book club, you’ll have access to a vocabulary guide, quizzes and exercises before each lessons. During our live sessions, we’ll discuss some chapters. You’ll always get the questions before so you’ll have time to prepare. After, you’ll get additional resources to keep practicing.
