Who is it for?
Intermediate learners (B1-B2) looking to progress in French with a focus on speaking.
Live classes are made for you to speak and practice French in a supportive and safe place where mistakes are allowed to progress 😊
My approach?
I’ll let you speak without interruption and correct/explain mistakes together at the end of each session.
How does it work?
A 6-week learning journey, with weekly online classes (2h/week) and groups of 4 people to maximize your speaking time.
Before each class, you’ll get a “dossier” (file in French) about a topic including a text and/or a video as well as vocabulary and grammar exercises paired with some explanations. This way you can practice both grammar and vocabulary at your own pace and get familiar with the topic before our live classes.
After each class, you’ll find our lessons notes summarising the key points covered, your questions and answers, vocabulary corrections, and grammar explanations to support your progress.
How much?
The price includes live sessions of 2h speaking classes as well as access to a virtual classroom with additional online exercises. Since each session is 20€/hour, that makes you a total of 240€.
When?
Every Tuesday at 6.30 PM (Brussels time), during 6 weeks and 2h of French each time.

What platform is used for the lesson?
Lessons are held on Google Meet. You’ll receive all the needed information to connect once the purchase has been made. There’s no need to download anything, you can join the class directly from your browser just by clicking on the link. If you experience any technical problems, you can contact me and I will help you as quickly as possible.
What if I don't receive the link?
Please check your spam folder first. The link is automatically send to your email address once the purchase has been done. If you still can’t find it, contact me and I’ll be happy to help.
What if I miss a class?
No worries, lessons notes and course material will be added to your virtual classroom. You’ll have access to these notes and files for up to 30 days after the course ends.
What happens if I sign up but need to cancel or reschedule?
Due to limited class size and scheduling, I ask you to let me know 14 days before your course starts to get a refund or to be added to another group later. If canceled less than 14 days before the starting day, no refund will be possible.
I'm not sure about my level, how can I know?

These tests are completely free and assess your communication skills assigning you a level based on your answers.

What kind of topics will be discussed?
Themes vary depending on the season, current events in France, and topics that spark discussion and engagement. To keep a positive environment, discussions about politics and religion will be avoided. Examples of topics including tourism, consumption, technology, work, etc.
Do I need any materials for the course?
No, all learning materials are provided. You’ll have access to a virtual classroom where everything will be shared.
Just be sure to have a computer, a stable internet connection, and a webcam/microphone.
Where can I find the course materials?
All materials are shared on our virtual classroom before and after each lesson. You’ll get a file including the covered topic as well as related grammar and vocabulary exercises periodically before each class. Lessons notes will be shared after the classes. You’ll get your access details once the course is booked and paid.
Do I have access to the materials after the course?
Yes, you will have access to the materials for the duration of your course and up to 30 days after it. You can download them for personal use only. Sharing them outside the course or platform is strictly prohibited.

What is your teaching method?
My courses focus on real-life communication and practical speaking skills. All classes are interactive and designed to help you speak as much as possible. I want to give you an opportunity to speak French in a safe place where mistakes are welcome and great to learn! I don’t correct your mistakes immediately, I let you speak without interruption. Once you’re done speaking, we discuss the mistakes together. In addition to our speaking classes, you’ll have access to our virtual classroom with exercises you can do before and after each lessons as well as lessons notes and additional resources to keep practicing.
